Are you an experienced Senior Contracts Manager looking for the next step up, or an established Head of Construction with a passion for high-end commercial fit-outs? This is an exciting opportunity to take the reins of a growing business unit and lead a talented delivery team in one of the most dynamic sectors in construction. We’re working with a leading design and build contractor who is looking to hire a Head of Construction to oversee the delivery of high-end commercial fit-out projects and help drive the business unit towards a £20-25m turnover target. You’ll be pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of the unit, managing a diverse team, and ensuring successful project delivery for some of the most prestigious clients in the industry. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the construction delivery team to ensure successful project execution across multiple high-end commercial fit-out projects. Drive business growth with the goal of increasing unit turnover to £20-25m. Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency, quality, and profitability. Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure repeat business and long-term success. Mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and high performance. Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure the highest standards of delivery. What We’re Looking For: A Senior Contracts Manager with significant experience in high-end commercial fit-out, looking to step into a more senior role OR an established Head of Construction with a proven track record looking to grow a team. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. Excellent financial and commercial acumen with experience in managing D&B office fit-out projects ranging from £1-10m. A deep understanding of the high-end design and build sector and the challenges that come with delivering quality, bespoke projects. A strategic mindset with the ability to drive growth and performance across a business unit.
