Are you an experienced property and housing professional looking for a role where you can make a real impact? A small, well-established Housing Association in Kent is seeking a Head of Assets & Housing to take ownership of both asset management and housing services, ensuring their homes remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained while delivering a high-quality resident experience.
The Role:
As Head of Assets & Housing, you will:
Manage a single-site portfolio of 200 properties, overseeing all aspects of maintenance, compliance, and resident services
Lead asset management, including planned and reactive maintenance, refurbishment projects, and procurement
Ensure full statutory compliance with health & safety, fire safety, and landlord responsibilities
Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, shaping the organisation’s long-term property strategy
Drive resident engagement, delivering a high-quality, customer-focused housing service
Oversee budget management, contractor performance, and service delivery What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in property/asset management and housing services (ideally in a Housing Association or Registered Provider)
Strong knowledge of planned maintenance, compliance, procurement, and health & safety regulations
Experience in team leadership, contract management, and stakeholder engagement
A hands-on leader who is proactive, resident-focused, and commercially awareBefore You Apply
