Are you a dedicated and experienced housekeeping professional with a passion for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment?
We are seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead my clients housekeeping team at their luxury care home in Lancaster, where your leadership will ensure their residents enjoy a comfortable and hygienic living space every day.
As Head Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within the care home, creating a warm and homely atmosphere for both residents and staff. If you're ready to lead with care and make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you!
Head Housekeeper Job Details:
* £12.60ph
* 36 hours per week
* Permanent contract
* Shifts between 8am - 5pm
* Includes rotational weekends
Head Housekeeper Responsibilies:
* Responsible for managing and supervising the domestic team.
* Responsible for putting together laundry and cleaning staff rotas.
* Being part of the interview panel when recruiting to the domestic team.
* Ordering cleaning and laundry products for the Home.
* Ordering linen for the Home.
* Liaising with relevant contractors and suppliers.
* Managing the Housekeeping budget.
* Ensuring the Home’s cleanliness and laundry requirements are kept to a high standard.
Head Housekeeper Requirements:
* Experience of managing a small team of people and working in a care home or similar is essential.
* Experienced working in housekeeping in a care home
* Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper is desirable
* Dementia experience desirable
* Understanding of COSHH
