Group Health, Safety and Environment Officer Dartford, Kent Permanent £40,000 - £45,000 - 10% bonus + benefits We have partnered with a globally leading manufacturing organisation, which is looking to appoint a Group Health, Safety and Environment Officer to be based in Dartford, Kent. It's a fast-paced environment, and we are seeking a hands-on Health, Safety and Environment Officer who can build relationships at all levels and continue to drive the safety culture. This is a critical role where you will support innovative projects and initiatives while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. They are seeking a dynamic HSE professional to join the business and contribute to achieving group objectives. The Group Health, Safety and Environment Officer Role: - Support and guide various site HSE matters. - Build relationships with key stakeholders across the site, promoting the development of a positive culture and best practice. - Ensure all H&S training needs are fulfilled. - Ensure all records are accurate and up to date, including the upkeep of risk assessments, COSHH assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and Manual Handling Risk assessments. - Audit site-based management systems ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 to ensure full compliance. - Develop and run HSE workshops and meetings. The Group Health, Safety and Environment Officer candidate will have: - Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment. - NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent NVQ. - NEBOSH Environmental or IEMA qualification (desirable). - The ability to strongly influence various internal stakeholders. - Experience of PUWER (advantageous). - Previous experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
