Graduate Recruitment Consultant - Building Services
White Recruitment is a market-leading recruitment agency that has several specialist brands that are 'household' names within their field. The Building Services division, consisting of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and M&E (Mechanical & Electrical Engineering) is recruiting for a graduate recruiter.
This is suitable for an ambitious, driven graduate who possesses strong communication skills, organisation skills and commercial aptitude
You will learn 1 to 1 from a Senior Recruiter who possesses over 15 years industry knowledge, gaining understanding of the recruitment processes and what's required to be successful
You:
Degree qualified (commercial preferred but anything considered)
Aptitude for learning - You will learn an entire industry and terminology that you won't be familiar with, it's going to take a while
Comfortable talking to people - On the phone, in-person and via email - phone calls, Teams meetings, client visits and emails - if the thought of that puts you off, this probably isn't the job for you
Experience of using AI - Familiarity with ChatGPT is essential - AI has been a game-changer in the recruitment industry and you will use it a lot
Organised - You will spin a lot of plates, if you're not organised they will inevitably fall on your head
Driven - The first 6 - 12 months of any sales job, recruitment included, is a bit of a slog. You will be building your desk, learning constantly, you've got to really want to be successful
Resilient - You're going to experience failure and negativity and that's okay, it's part of the job. You've got be able to take it on the chin and move on
What you will be doing:
Researching companies
Headhunting candidates
Advertising jobs on job boards and LinkedIn
Using artificial intelligence software
Operating a recruitment data base
Some of the software we use includes Microsoft Word, Google Drive, ChatGPT, Vincere, Hunter
Package:
Realistic salary in year 1, £30,000
Realistic salary in year 2, £40,000
Realistic salary in year 3, £50,000
Structured and flexible career progression that offers routes into management
Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm
Friday 4.30pm finish
Private health insurance
Regular work social events including horse racing in the summer and a Christmas party
