Job Description
Due to continued heavy workload, we are seeking to recruit a Trainee Occupational Hygienist to join our dynamic team.
Established in 2005, Cirrus Environmental Solutions Ltd has the largest team of Occupational Hygienists in the North East of England.
Duties will include assisting with Noise Exposure Surveys, LEV Testing, Air Quality /Exposure Monitoring, HAV Assessments, Sick Building Surveys, Microbiological Assessments and Environmental Noise Surveys. Duties will also include lab preparation work, equipment preparation and calibrations as well as report writing.
The ideal candidate must have a good level of education and be comfortable working with Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel. No experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn is essential. Full training will be given both internally by Cirrus colleagues and through external training providers.
In addition, the applicant must be willing to work sometimes at height within industrial environments. We have an extremely varied client base, so a wide range of businesses and environments will be encountered.
The vast majority of our work is North East based, so the ideal candidate should be based in this area.
