Excellent opportunity for someone with confident Electronic assembly, repair and test skills to work for a growing manufacturer in the Harrogate area. The role would suit an Electronics graduate looking for their first opportunity with experience of test and repair to component level. The role is immediately available on a temporary basis and has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
The company produce bespoke specialist electromechanical equipment for a range of industries and the role will be a mix of the repair of broken products and building new equipment.
Your role as the Electronic Build, Test & Repair Technician will involve:
Working to drawings to build and assemble electromechanical equipment to customer specifications
Rework, fault-finding and repair to component level
Selection and soldering of components
Some electrical assembly and repair of cable insertion systems
Mechanical strip down and assembly
Final testing and quality inspection for products
As the Electronic Build, Test & Repair Technician you will:
Have confident experience of test and repair to component level or hold a relevant engineering qualification in Electronic engineering
Be able to solder neatly and use a wide range of hand tools
Have the ability to recognise everyday electronic and mechanical components and systems
Be able to repair cable systems
Be able to use basic electronic test equipment including multi-meters and continuity testers
Be happy working in a targeted production environment.
