Job Description

The Company A leading contemporary art gallery with spaces across London, Europe, the US and Asia. The business is continuing to grow and evolve under new leadership with 250 employees worldwide. Established in 1993, the gallery has since grown into one of the most influential commercial galleries, representing internationally renowned artists such as Georg Baselitz, Tracey Emin, Antony Gormley, Mona Hatoum, Anselm Kiefer, Liu Wei, Park Seo Bo, Doris Salcedo and Jeff Wall. The Role As part of growth, we are looking for a Global People Operations Partner to join the HR team. This is an HR generalist position with responsibility for both the UK and New York offices. You'll manage day-to-day people operations, covering all aspects of employee relations from performance management to strategy, learning, development and recruitment. You’ll also have the opportunity to help shape and influence the HR department, working closely with the Head of HR and mentoring the more junior members in their existing team of 3. Requirements: * Excellent communication skills, with ability to liaise across all business levels. * Extensive HR generalist experience ideally gained in an SME business. * Experience working within high-growth environments, bringing an understanding of challenges/opportunities that come with this. * Ability to develop an existing but premature HR department. * Ability to apply appropriate discretion in sensitive situations and always retain complete confidentiality. * Ability to work under own autonomy and collaborate as part of a senior management team. * CIPD qualification is also nice to have.
