We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in South West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a committed ECT to make a real impact on students' learning and understanding of the world around them.
The Role:
Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5
Deliver high-quality lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for the environment
Plan and assess effectively to ensure excellent student progress
Use interactive teaching methods, including fieldwork and technology, to enhance learning
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, trips, and geography-related events
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience teaching Geography at secondary school level
A strong understanding of the national curriculum and exam board requirements
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A passion for developing geographical awareness and environmental responsibility in students
