Generator Engineer role based in Kilmarnock within the power generation sector – £36,000–£40,000 basic + paid overtime, company van, and 25 days holiday plus 8 days bank holidays!
Benefits of the Generator Engineer:
Salary from £36,000 to £40,000 basic
Overtime paid at 1.5x and 2x hourly rates
Company vehicle (business use) + fuel card
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Monday to Friday hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Split role: Workshop & mobile-based

Responsibilities of the Generator Engineer:
Join a highly regarded organisation in the power generation industry as a Generator Engineer.
You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing diesel generators at customer sites and within the workshop.
This varied role involves fault-finding, inspections, and occasional installations across a range of generator sizes.
You'll work independently and as part of a close-knit engineering team, ensuring reliable power solutions for commercial and industrial clients.
To be successful in this role, you may have worked as a: Generator Engineer, Generator Service Engineer, Field Service Generator Engineer, Diesel Generator Engineer, Mobile Generator Technician, Power Generation Engineer, Plant Fitter, Electrical Engineer, Service Technician, or Workshop Engineer.
