Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting: We are currently looking for General Operatives for permanent positions in Sheffield for an immediate start (subject to interview). Salary for the role would be £24,960 per annum, however this does not take into account night shift bonus (paid at £20 per shift) and any overtime at the below rates: Over 40 Hours - Paid at time and a half Saturday - Paid at time and a half Sunday - Paid at double time Part of the work is a shift role where 12-hour days/night shifts are required, however core hours around this will be 07:30-16:00 Mon-Fri (A shift rota is provided 6 months in advance). Candidates will only be considered who agree and consent to the below: Agree to a pre-employment CRB check being carried out Agree to day 1 and random periodic drug and alcohol testing as per site rulesThis role would suit candidates with experience in the metal recovery industry, or with experience in moving sifting equipment or conveyor production process equipment. An eye for detail is essential as there will be usage of weighing equipment logging accurate weights. As part of this role, you will be working indoors and outdoors at times. Full training is given on all aspects of the role, however previous experience of one or more of the below duties is highly desirable: Plasma Cutting Yard FLT Operative (Counterbalance) Machine Operators Use of cutting tools Working in a recycling environmentMust have an in date FLT Counterbalance licence and an in date CCNSG Safety Passport would be advantageous.
