We're on the lookout for motivated and reliable General Assistants to join our dynamic team with the world’s largest provider of airline catering and in-flight services. This is your chance to be part of an essential team that helps deliver exceptional in-flight experiences.
About the Role:
As a General Assistant, you'll play a key role in our production area, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of catering equipment and food items. Your duties will include:
As a General Assistant you will be working in one of the following areas
(please note, your duties will include but are not limited to the below):
Production
- Preparing and plating food- General Cleaning
- Handling of packed food goods- Waste Removal
- Packing amenity kits and flight condiments- Washing airline equipment to industry standards
Wash
- General Cleaning
- Waste Removal
- Washing airline equipment to industry standards
Equipment
- Stacking shelves- Inspecting goods ensuring no prohibited items
- Rotation of stock- Checking stock for any damages
- Re-ordering of dry stock- Completion of paperwork
Search and Seal
- Inspecting goods ensuring no prohibited items
- Checking stock for any damages
- Completion of paperwork
You’ll also be working in a chilled environment, so it’s essential to be prepared for this.

A competitive hourly rate of £12.41 per hour – flat rate for all hours worked.
Consistent work hours with a 5 out of 7 rota (an average of 40 hours per week, this will include weekends), with shifts starting at 04:00.
After just 12 weeks, you’ll be eligible to transfer to a season contract until 31st October 2025.What We’re Looking For:
No prior experience necessary – just a strong work ethic, 100% attendance, and a team-first attitude!
The ability to handle pork and alcohol products.
Comfortable standing for long periods and able to work in a chilled environment.
