Job Description
My client based in Woking is looking for a gate & barrier engineer to join their team ASAP. Please see details below for this active vacancy.
WORKING HOURS
Engineers' core working hours are 40 hours a week. Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00 hours with up to one hour for lunch. You will be paid for travel from home to site and site to home. If you come to the office you will be paid once you arrive and if you come to the office at the end of the day, travel cannot be claimed home. We endeavour to have your workload organised, so time at the office is kept to a minimum.
HOLIDAYS
The company offers 28 days paid holiday per calendar year, this includes 8 public holidays. This entitlement increases with length of service.
SALARY
Your basic salary will commence at £35,360 pa (£17ph) and you will receive overtime for work in excess of an 8-hour day paid @ 1.5 (30 min - 1hr unpaid lunch break not included). If you worked 8 hours overtime a week, you will earnan additional £10,608 pa, OTE £45,968. We pay overtime when you are on annual leave by calculating your average daily overtime.
You will be required as part of your normal duties to join the 'Saturday Rota'. This currently stands at approximately 1 week in every 9 weeks and will be paid at time and a half.
