Your Responsibilities as a Gas Engineer:
As a vital member of the team, you will:
* Provide on-site maintenance and support for a wide range of combustion equipment and plant.
* Respond promptly to customer callouts, participating in an on-call rotation.
* Troubleshoot and repair combustion, boiler, and process plant machinery.
* Install, commission, and service equipment.
* Conduct testing and monitoring of plant performance.
* Generate regular customer reports and feedback.
* Propose upgrades and suggest energy-saving measures.
* Foster strong customer relationships.
* Contribute valuable feedback on products.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
* Travel locally, with occasional overnight stays.
Qualifications for the Role:
To excel as a Gas Engineer, you will need:
* Experience working as a commercial or industrial gas engineer
* Full UK driving licence.
* Gas qualifications such as COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, and CORT1 (preferred).
* Advantageous skills in both electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Accuracy in working at speed with a diverse set of responsibilities.
* Eagerness to undertake relevant training for continuous skill development.
