Job Description
Freight Forwarder Required** to join a leading UK freight forwarder at their site based in Tilbury. With over 30 years in the sector, this company provide specialise within imports and exports for all types of cargo across air, sea, and road freight.
In this position you will focusing primarily on the businesses import operations across all modes.
Freight Forwarder – Salary & Benefits
* Salary dependent on experience - £30K - £35K
* Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00
* Holiday package

Freight Forwarder – Responsibilities
* Liaising with various customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, including shipping lines, hauliers, and depots.
* Raising internal files.
* Preparing invoices.
* Processing supplier invoices and addressing any discrepancies.
* Monitoring vessel arrivals
* Organising collections and deliveries to ensure customer deadlines are met.
* Following up after delivery to confirm customer satisfaction
Freight Forwarder - Position Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience working for small to medium sized freight forwarders
* Experience with CNS and Destin8. (The companies forwarding software is multi-freight.)
* Proficient in using Microsoft programmes (Word, Excel etc.)Before You Apply
