Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor on a landmark £60m student accommodation project in Bristol. This long-term opportunity (3 years) offers stability and competitive day rates, making it an ideal role for an established freelancer.
The Role:
* Full commercial management of the project
* Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, and variations.
* Cost control, forecasting, and reporting to ensure financial performance.
* Contract administration (JCT or NEC experience beneficial).
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale construction projects
* Strong background in student accommodation, residential, or similar high-rise projects.
* Ability to work independently and manage commercial aspects effectively.
* Available for a long-term freelance contract.
This role is outside IR35, offering £350-£450 per day, depending on experience.
