Job Description
O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Design Coordinator on behalf of our client, to support the delivery of a prestigious Listed Building redevelopment in Central Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established site team and contribute to a complex and exciting heritage project, with full support from the client’s central head office.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate design information between consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
Support the resolution of design queries and ensure clarity across all stakeholders
Manage design documentation and issue control in line with project timelines
Liaise with both site and head office to keep progress aligned and proactive
Ensure compliance with heritage, planning, and building regulation standards
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as a Design Coordinator or similar role
Previous involvement in listed building or heritage refurbishment projects is preferred
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to integrate quickly into an established team
Immediate or short notice availability preferred
Contract Details:
Freelance contract – Outside IR35
Duration: 6–8 months
Location: Central Bristol
Start: ASAP
Day Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience)Before You Apply
