Job Description
Prime Appointments are currently looking for a Forklift Driver to work in outskirts of Colchester, Essex for a successful food-based company.
If you have an accredited counterbalance certificate and looking for a long-term role, this is the job for you!
This role is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.
Only candidates with an in-date Forklift counterbalance licence and UK driving licence will be considered
Your day-to-day duties will include:
Daily use of a forklift truck as well as other machinery
Working within the production areas loading machines and production line to ensure a smooth running of production
Moving end stock to stock and racking areas
Loading / Unloading lorries and containers
Completing manual handling tasks
Basic computer use for inhouse systems
General site housekeeping
The ideal Forklift Driver candidate:
In date accredited counterbalance forklift certificate
All applicants must have experience on using a forklift
UK Driving Licence
Physically fit and able and happy to help with any manual tasks
Hours & Pay:
4 on 4 off shifts (will include working weekends)
Monday-Friday 7am-6pm. Saturday 7am-4pm. Sunday 7am-2pm.
Full-Time
