Location: Stourbridge
Salary: £13.00 per hour (pay review after probationary period)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm | Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
We’re hiring on behalf of a leading manufacturer who is looking to add a reliable and skilled Forklift Driver to their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied and hands-on role within a supportive, long-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to load, unload and move materials safely
Assisting with product assembly as part of the production process
Cutting materials (training provided if necessary)
Ensuring health and safety procedures are always followed
General warehouse and production duties as required
What We're Looking For:
Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
Comfortable with hands-on tasks including assembly and operating machinery
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
The Offer:
£13.00 per hour to start
Pay review after a successful probationary period
Daytime hours with an earlier finish on Fridays
Potential for a permanent role after the initial temporary period
