Primary Responsibilities: Provide high-quality woodland management and forestry contracting services to both new and existing clients. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders. Prepare client budgets, generate reports, and oversee work programs and grant applications. Supervise and manage productive forestry operations. Lead the planning and execution of new woodland creation projects. Collaborate with local teams in forestry, business development, forest investment, and harvesting. Manage and expand a diverse client portfolio, ensuring exceptional service and long-term value. Focus on delivering top-tier forest management while enhancing the client experience. Required/Desirable Experience: Proven experience in forestry or a related field. In-depth understanding of commercial practices and relationship management. Knowledge of upland conifer forest management. Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Strong commercial and client relationship management abilities. Business development experience (preferred). Familiarity with the UK Forester Standard and UKWAS. Knowledge of Forestry Grant Schemes (desirable). Professional membership (e.g., Institute of Chartered Foresters) is a plus. Full UK driving license (required for regional travel).
