Foreman / Supervisor - Groundworks, Basements and Concrete Frames (Permanent or Freelance considered) Role overview: My client is a well-established Construction and Civil Engineering Company that specialise in Groundworks, Basements and Concrete Frames. They work for some of the UK's leading Contractors and undertake projects varying from £500k to £10m in value. Their operational region is broadly 60 miles from Winchester in all directions, although their core area of focus is around the Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex, Wiltshire and Surrey area. They have the following capabilities; Sheet piling CFA Piling Kingpost Ground Water Management Remediation Soil Stabilisation Party Wall Solutions Temporary Works Bulk Earthworks Substructures Airside and Waterside Work Section 278 Deep Drainage Attenuation & Soakaway Systems Retaining Structures Waterproofing Concrete and Membranes Formwork & Falsework Reinforced Concrete Basements High Rise Buildings Exposed Concrete Finishes Precast Concrete Offsite Manufacturing Jumpform Slipform Post Tensioning Climbing Screens Crane Solutions Duties: Ordering plant, labour and materials Leading toolbox talks, daily briefings and site inductions Working with the Site Agent and commercial team to raise early warning notices Promote the highest levels of health and safety on site Liaise with stakeholders on public facing projects Ensure your work force is working safely, effectively and efficiently Reading drawings with the site engineer to coordinate gangs and overcome design difficulties Ensure risk assessments and method statements and being adhered to Benefits (For permanent staff); Competitive basic salary Company vehicle or allowance Holidays Company pension scheme Training and Progression And much more
