Job Description
Are you an experienced Quality Control professional looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting for a QC Supervisor to join a food manufacturing company based in Willenhall, working on a night shift schedule.
Role Details
* Shift Pattern: Night shift, Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 – 06:00
* Training Period: 4-6 weeks minimum on day shifts before moving to nights
* Salary: £27,518.40 during training (days), moving to £13,158.40 once on nights
* Team Size: Supervising a team of 4 QC operatives
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising the QC area, ensuring compliance with required standards.
* Overseeing tasks such as:
* Baking/cooking of products and ingredients.
* Visual and taste testing.
* Metal detection, heat testing, weight testing, and more.
* Ensuring all paperwork and safety procedures are correctly completed.
* Maintaining high-quality standards and fostering a safety-first culture.
Requirements
* Preferably from a food manufacturing background.
* Proven experience in Quality Control, ideally in a supervisory role.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
