Kinetic recruitment services are working in partnership with one of our clients to recruit full-time food production workers for their site based in Ashton-Under-Lyne.
This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate with the earning potential being high!
This position is a short term position with potential of a long term position.
Food production and manufacturing experience is a must!
This role is a rotation of 2 weeks nights and 2 weeks days, all candidates MUST be able to work both days and nights.
Hours of work;
Week 1;
Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday - 48 hours
Week 2;
Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday - 36 hours
Payrate for the first 12 consecutive weeks;
* Standard hours £12.58 per hour
* Overtime Monday to Saturday £18.88 per hour
* Overtime Sundays and bank holidays £25.17 per hour
Payrate after completing 12 consecutive weeks;
* Standard hours £14.91 per hour
* Overtime Monday to Saturday £22.38 per hour
* Overtime Sundays and bank holidays £29.85 per hour
The role;
* Packing produce.
* Shrink wrapping produce into boxes.
* Operating high-speed production lines.
* Maximising output and yields.
* Ensuring all health and safety procedures are always adhered to.
* Maintaining product quality standards and helping them achieve their KPI's.
What we are looking for;
* A background in food manufacturing.
* A 'can-do' attitude.
* Team player.
* Great communication skills both written and verbal.
Benefits
