Fitter Assembler Birmingham From £28,000 Per Annum Our client, supply specialist tooling for a variety of industries, they are currently recruiting for a Repair Technician/ Fitter to join their growing team! Fitter Assembler Roles and Responsibilities: * Providing repair and final testing of Handheld hydraulic tools, Hydraulic power units (petrol, diesel & 3-phase electric powered), 2-Stroke petrol hand held tools, Electric powered hand-held tools, Petrol powered Floor Saws * Respraying of repaired tools if requested * Assembly and commissioning of hydraulic hose sets and hydraulic hand-held tooling * Modify equipment based upon customer requirements * General workshop & site maintenance and repairs * Recording of repair assessments and parts required * Prepare costing including required labour The ideal Fitter Assembler will: * Experience with servicing / repairing petrol and hydraulic powered tools * Basic knowledge of petrol- and diesel-powered engines * The ability to diagnose and problem solve issues * Some computer skills would be an advantage but not essential * Full UK driving license Working Hours + benefits: * Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00 * 45 Minute Break * Pension Scheme * Sick pay * 25 Holidays + Bank Holidays – Increasing a day after each year for 5 years Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 27 years.
