Fire Protection Engineer - Birmingham - Paying 38-43k + Company Vehicle My client who is in the Facilities Management Industry are looking for a Fire Protection Engineer to join their growing team. They are currently working on projects within the NHS and facility management companies. The role of the Fire Protection Engineer: The role consists of a mix of fire stopping, mainly remedial works and survey works. Responsibilities of the Fire Protection Engineer: * Undertake site inspections and surveys relating to passive fire protection such as fire stopping, facades, fire doors, cavity barriers, ductwork, fire dampers and fire-resistant coatings. * Installing of Intumescent coatings, firestopping systems, cavity barriers and structrual boarding. * Fire and smoke damper testing * Identify defects and other non compliances, photographing and reporting using boris software. What we a looking for in a Fire Protection Engineer: The Fire Protection engineer will ideally have experience in a similar role and Ideally you will be/have: * NVQ Level 2 Passive Fire Protection * FSIDip, SSSTS, FIRAS and FDIS Qualified * DBS Checked/Cleared * Previously used Boris * UK Driving License * Can Accurately interpret technical data, drawings and instructions * Knowledge of BS: 9999:2017, HTM 05-02, HTM 05-03 and regulatory reform (Fire Safety) order 2005 regulations.
