Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finisher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the final stages of production, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work with various materials, particularly sheet metal. If you have a passion for fabrication and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Grind and polish surfaces to achieve desired finishes on products. Assemble components accurately, ensuring proper fit and function. Fabricate parts using hand tools and machinery, adhering to specifications. Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during production. Employ mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the finishing process. Work with tooling equipment to shape and form materials as required. Weld components together when necessary, ensuring strong and durable joints. Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all safety protocols.Experience Proven experience in a similar finishing role or within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge and experience using hand tools effectively. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately. A basic understanding of welding techniques is beneficial but not mandatory.
