Job Description
We're looking for a talented Finishing Operator to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field.
If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for, even if you've got limited work experience.
The Role:
As the Finishing Operator you'll report to the manager and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis.
Shift pattern is Monday to Friday. There are 2 shifts available.
Early shift: 7 am to 3pm and late shift: 1:30pm to 9:30pm.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
Understand and use the Work Instructions (Job Bag)
* Use of setting sheet and packing specification
* Setting of feeder components
* Setting of pre-break section
* Setting of the Pharma Code reader
* Setting of glue pot
* Setting of overhead glue system
* Setting of folding section
* Setting of transfer section
* Setting of infeed devices
* Setting of delivery belt
* Setting of Little David
* Understand and complete Pass Sheet / QMC / all Q.C. documentation
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Finishing Operator role will have relevant background of previous experience in the field.
You'll also need experience of the ability to work calmly under pressure as well as good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.
In addition, you'll need the following:
- An excellent communication, team work and customer service skills
- An experience minimum of 1 year's ( desirable)
- A flexible attitude and a team player
- Understand and follow the CAPA / Improvement Process, when appropriate
- Understand and follow the Quality Process Flow Charts, including CCP's
The ideal person for the role will be the following:
- Punctual, Keen, Enthusiastic
- Able to work as part of a team
- Effective organisational skills
- Maintain output according to the schedule
- Assist the Finishing Manager with training of new personnel
- Maintain and clean gluing machine
- Weekly factory cleaning, to the schedule
