Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a fast-paced organisation based near High Wycombe. A fully qualified, technically strong Accountant is needed for this role, with expertise in statutory reporting including consolidations along with up-to-date audit, compliance & tax. This is an immediate start for approx. 6 x months (maybe longer), offering a hybrid working pattern and a competitive day rate. Responsibilities: Technically strong accountant with up-to-date knowledge of auditing and statutory reporting (including consolidations) and tax Work in conjunction with FC External Compliance & Reporting and Group Financial Reporting Accountant to provide clear, accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring external financial reporting compliance Produce accurate financial accounts in accordance with current regulatory and professional standards (IFRS / FRS 101) Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word) Become key contact for coordinating audit deliverables. Ensure that accounting implications of key contracts are understood and impact of changes to accounting standards To perform and aid preparation of the pension scheme accounts Build close working relationships with the UK Finance team, external advisors and intercompany partners Work across the organisation's matrix structure, providing support to those that need it and obtaining information when it is required Strive for continuous process improvements.Requirements: Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Strong statutory accounting experience Excellent eye for detail & accuracy Confident & personable communicator Microsoft Office essential (Advanced Excel & Word)By applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
