Job Description

We are looking for a fianance assistant for a growing, multi-site manufacturing company with a commitment to excellence in their field. As part of a much larger finance team this job is well suited to a highly motivated and detail orientated person who is looking for an entry-level finance position. As Finance Assistant you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. Key responsibilities will include: * Conducting daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple currencies to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. * Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. * Maintain and update financial records relating to bank transactions. * Assist in the documentation and filing of financial information for audit and compliance purposes. * Identify opportunities for process improvement in the bank reconciliation process and contribute to the implementation of best practice. * Generate and analyse financial reports in preparation for management review. To be successful in this role you’ll be someone who thrives in a very fast paced and often changeable environment. You’re a natural communicator, someone who can explain complex financial information to non-finance professionals and you have a very keen eye for detail. You’ll also have a recognizable finance qualification such as AAT (or part qualified) to back you up but also the desire to progress and make a name for yourself in a Finance led business. The job is based in the office 5 days with flexibility around start and finish times. The salary is £25k-£30k along with a company benefit package.
