Job Title: Temporary Finance Assistant
Location: Rugby
Salary: £23,000 - £31,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Temporary (Duration: 3- 6 Months)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm or 9am till 5pm
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team in Rugby. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations, assisting with accounting processes, and ensuring the smooth management of financial records. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their career in finance and contribute to the financial success of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collect Debts and allocate payments
To ensure all purchase orders are completed and authorised and matched as per companies procedures
To process invoices in accordance with company procedures
To ensure all sales invoices are raised within a timely manner
Facilitate effective verbal and nonverbal communication processes across all levels
To undertake all administration functions, associated with the finance operation
Experience
Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is desirable.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) or ERP systems.
Personal Attributes:
High level of integrity and confidentiality when dealing with financial information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive and eager to learn, with a keen interest in developing a career in finance.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude with a customer-service approach when working with colleagues.
