At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Finance Assistant positions to work with an important company in Banbury (OX16 3ED). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their careers in finance with competitive pay and potential hybrid work options after training.
Shift Patterns:
Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (between 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
Initially office-based, with hybrid work available after training
Salary:
£25,000 - £28,000 per year (Paid at an hourly rate, dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities of a Finance Assistant:
Check and reconcile data from global depots for accuracy.
Raise sales invoices and purchase requests for sales and purchasing teams.
Manage long-term ownership of the Credo Profit & Loss (P&L) to track trading performance.
Act as the main contact for customer work orders.
Assist with month-end trading to ensure accurate and timely account completion.
Generate backup reports for customers using supplier invoice data.
Reconcile monthly revenue, transport costs, and margin analysis for CT.
Support the Finance Assistant on transport processes.
Create and share customer KPIs, including global spend and completed work orders.
Handle additional finance-related tasks as needed.
Required Skills and Experience for the Finance Assistant Role:
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with key team members.
Experience with Oracle (preferred but not required).
Background in supply chain finance (a plus).
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
