Job Description

NXTGEN has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join a world renowned company on a 4-month temporary contract. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the analysis, control, and reporting of financial information for specific business areas. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team as a Finance Analyst and contribute to the overall success of the business. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including KPI packs Prepare monthly management accounts, profit and loss, and balance sheet, including journal preparation and posting Support the Finance Manager in improving reporting, analysis, and commentary Streamline processes and undertake additional tasks as needed Analyse costs against budget and forecast Communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders Provide ad hoc financial analysis and project work Collaborate with the Central Finance team to ensure proper allocation of costs and benefits Ensure compliance with accounting policies and proceduresWhat You'll Bring to the Role: Strong relationship-building and communication skills across various levels Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to meet strict deadlines and produce high-quality work Advanced Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables) Experience with Anaplan, SAP, and PowerBI is desirableYou will be working with commercially focused individuals in a collaborative and supportive environment.
