Field Service Technician
Upto £33,000 + Great OT rate + 33 days holiday (including bank) + private medical cover + Health Insurance + Wellness Programme + Additional Company Benefits
Bristol + South West Region
Hours: Mon – Fri, 40 hours (08:00 – 16:30)
Job Summary:
The Service Engineer will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance and thorough examinations of forklift trucks at customer sites. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, professional, and a strong team player.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled preventative maintenance services within specified timeframes.
* Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and input data into the online system on time.
* Maintain a well-stocked service van and order necessary service kits and parts.
* Provide timely and professional feedback to customers and the service coordination team.
* Conduct site-specific risk assessments as required.
* Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company guidelines.
* Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company’s reputation.
* Ensure the service van is kept clean and perform weekly maintenance checks.
* Communicate any critical customer information back to the company.
Person Specification
* Must have driving license
* A well-organized and methodical engineer.
* Diligent, with strong attention to detail in paperwork and processes.
* Energetic, positive, and enthusiastic in approach.
