Field Service Engineer - Ipswich - £50,000 OTE - Excellent travel opportunities
Prime Appointments are excited to partner with a leading manufacturer of rotating machinery to recruit a skilled Field Service Engineer based in Ipswich. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery, with travel to locations across the UK, Europe, and America. If you're looking for a dynamic role with international travel, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for commissioning, installing, and servicing machinery. You'll also provide technical support and troubleshooting to clients to ensure their operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Commission, install, and service machinery both on-site at the Ipswich facility and client locations
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
Provide remote and on-site technical support, resolving operational challenges
Travel across the UK, Europe, and America for installations and support
Required Experience:
Electrical engineering background (engineering qualification required)
Experience in automation is beneficial
Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and control systems
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
Experience with bearings and moving parts
A UK driving license is essential
