Job Description

Field Service Engineer- HPLC, GC & MS Salary: £40k - £50k DOE + Bonus + Vehicle + training Territory: Regional with some wider UK travel nGenium has partnered with a specialist chromatography and spectrometry instrumentation company with an exciting new vacancies for senior field service engineers across the UK to provide specialist support to their clients. In this role you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance & service of HPLC’s, GC’S and Mass spectrometers. In this Field Service Engineer position, an engineer can expect: Full-service support on a range of analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS from various manufacturers. Diagnosing and resolving issues related to product performance. Performing service, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting. Calibrating customer equipment in accordance with specified standards. Proactively engage with customers to build relationships and improve service Providing remote technical support to customers. Complete accurate supporting documentation. OEM training and skills development. A suitable Field Service Engineer would need: Minimum of HNC or degree level of education in an engineering or science based discipline Significant experience working with Chromatography or Spectrometry equipment in a field or labs-based role. Full proficiency Servicing HPLC’s and LCMS (ideal) Full UK right to work and UK driving License. Knowledge of labs-based software and applications (advantageous) Motivated and eager to learn.
