About the Role:
· Teaching: Deliver high-quality PE lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring them to engage with sports and fitness.
· Development: Encourage personal development and teamwork, both inside and outside the classroom.
· Extra-Curricular: Play a key role in promoting and leading extra-curricular sports and activities, enhancing the schools sporting reputation.
· Teamwork: Work collaboratively with a passionate PE department and contribute to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and innovative lessons.
· Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help improve performance.
· Support the development of the PE curriculum and participate in school sports events.
· Promote healthy lifestyles and positive well-being across the school.
The Ideal Candidate:
· A qualified PE Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching Secondary School students.
· Passionate about sports and physical education, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
· Excellent communication and organisational skills.
· Enthusiastic about leading extra-curricular activities and supporting student development.
· A proactive, team player who can contribute to the positive culture of the school.
