- Manage day-to-day operations of the welding and fabricating workshop
- Supervise and mentor a team of welders, fabricators, and other workshop staff,
- Oversee equipment maintenance and repair,
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies
- Collaborate with management
- Operate workshop machinery as required
- Follow written and verbal instructions, as well as technical drawing details and specifications,
- Liaise with supervisors and steel detailers to resolve any queries
- Complete any documentation required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a welding and fabricating workshop.
- Extensive knowledge of welding and fabricating techniques, processes, and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels.
- Punctual, reliable and flexible
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in welding and fabricating are preferredBefore You Apply
