Job Description
We are now recruiting for a Fabrication Supervisor to join an established manufacturing business based in the Hereford area. The Fabrication Supervisor will act as a Team Leader/Supervisor overseeing a team of Welders and fabricators, the ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments and of prioritising workload for the team and allocating where necessary.
As the Fabrication Supervisor you will be responsible for :
* Lead a team of Welders/Fabricators
* Analysing production schedules
* Prioritising work load for the team
* Monitoring production schedules and refining where necessary
* Working to production deadlines
* Carry out regular inspections and audits of production lines
* Resolve any quality issues
* Interpret engineering drawings and dimensions
* Work with a wide range of materials
Requirements:
* Ideally a HNC/HND in Engineering
* Experience of Lean Manufacturing
* Certified Welder/Fabricator would be an advantage
* Able to interpret engineering drawings/dimensions
* Familiar with CAD software and ERP systems
* Strong People management skills
* Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment
* Excellent Communication skills
