Plater / Welder Supervisor – Structural Steel

Great Opportunity
4-day week: Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 4:45pm
Competitive pay: £19.86/hour (£38,211 basic per annum) Overtime up to £39.72ph

The Role
As Plater / Welder Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for:
Leading the team – Overseeing platers and welders, ensuring targets are met efficiently and safely
Maintaining safety standards – Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with all health & safety policies
Managing operations – Coordinating materials, equipment, and workflow to optimise production
Training & development – Supporting and mentoring team members, including apprentices
Ensuring compliance – Keeping accurate records, completing permits, and adhering to company procedures
Effective communication – Liaising with production management to report progress and resolve any issuesWhat We’re Looking For
Strong plating and welding experience in a structural steel manufacturing environment
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
High attention to detail, particularly in interpreting drawings and documentation
Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
