Job Description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? A specialist school in Lozells seeks a proactive and enthusiastic SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant to support children with autism and complex needs.
The Role:
* Providing tailored support to EYFS pupils with SEN, including autism and complex needs
* Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
* Assisting with personal care when required
* Encouraging independence and communication skills in young learners
* Working closely with teachers and therapists to support individual learning plans
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with SEN, particularly autism and complex needs
* A proactive, engaging, and enthusiastic approach to learning support
* Willingness to assist with personal care needs
* A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education, or a related field
* A DBS on the update service or willingness to process one
* Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday
