Job Description

Extrusion Operator Location: Southampton Salary: £14-15 per hour Shift: 39 hours per week + 5 hours mandatory overtime at 1.3x Holt Engineering are working with a family-owned company with over 70 years of experience - a leading manufacturer of engineering pipework solutions. They are committed to innovation and quality, providing cutting-edge products and services to various industries. Extrusion Operator Responsibilities: As an Extrusion Setter/Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include: Setting up and operating extrusion lines Changing and setting heads, dies, and pins Cleaning barrels and screws Monitoring and maintaining product quality Operating forklifts and other machinery Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean workspace Supporting other team members as needed Extrusion Operator Requirements: Previous experience in extrusion or a similar manufacturing role Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work overtime and shifts as required Forklift license (training can be provided) Extrusion Operative Benefits: Competitive salary Overtime and shift pay 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Opportunities for training and development How to apply for the Extrusion Operative role: Please either apply directly or contact Harry on (phone number removed) or at (url removed)
