Job Description

Export Office Supervisor Heathrow £35K - £38K per annum My client is seeking an Office Supervisor to join their Export team in Heathrow. You will be working within an established team managing customer queries through to resolution. You will: * Manage the completion of export files to the required standards * Coordinate air export freight activities, including documentation, data entry, shipment tracking, billing, and delivery arrangements * Maintain full compliance with export documentation instructions and destination requirements * Manage the shared mailbox to meet required standards * Resolve customer queries effectively * Assist in reception and receiving areas as needed * Organise and maintain office records and files, ensuring accuracy and currency * Coach and train team members as necessary * Oversee team compliance with company policies and procedures * Verify cargo weights and dimensions * Handle requirements for dangerous or controlled goods, ensuring proper permits and licenses are secured * Communicate daily with airlines, vendors, truckers, customers, warehouse contacts, sales representatives, and overseas offices The ideal candidate will: * Have the ability to work independently and proactively * Have extensive knowledge of air freight, customer service, and operations * Be proficient in QD Reports, flight status, post-flight processes, and airline requirements * Have strong analytical and decision-making skills * Have working knowledge of ASM Sequoia or similar systems * Have a good working knowledge of MS Office * Have excellent attention to detail * Be team-oriented with strong organisational and multitasking abilities * Ideally have completed Aviation Security Level CO Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
