Job Description

We are seeking an Export Clerk/Co-Coordinator to join our growing Exeter team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in facilitating end-to-end Export operations to ensure the seamless flow of data and information over 2 of our clients sites. Key Responsibilities: - Processing Export Customs Clearance on behalf of Customers. - Ensure customer and partner parameters are met efficiently and cost-effectively. - Liaise with transport teams and partners to communicate customer needs and proactively address any discrepancies. - Prepare and submit customs documentation accurately, booking Export shipments with Carriers. - Complete all administrative tasks, including pricing and costing, with precision. - Input all relevant information into the system accurately. - Monitoring jobs and updating Customers as necessary. - Perform additional administrative tasks as required, covering tasks for 2 locations. Required Competencies: - MUST have at least 2 years previous experience in freight forwarding and Export operations, particularly within sea freight operations. - Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. - Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines consistently. - Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and processes. - Ability to work quickly while maintaining high accuracy levels. - Proficient in relevant software packages, including MS Office. - Knowledge of CargoWise advantageous but not essential.
