Experienced Social Worker for SGO Annual Reviews Position: Experienced Social Worker Team: SGO Reviewing Team Pay: £35 per hour Contract: Agency Contact -  or call (phone number removed) Are you a dedicated and experienced Social Worker looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to carry out Special Guardianship Order (SGO) annual reviews. This role is essential in ensuring the well-being of our SGO carers and the children in their care. Key Responsibilities: Review all completed questionnaires returned by our SGO carers. Identify cases that require further discussion and make arrangements to meet with carers as needed. Assess changes in carers' circumstances and evaluate the potential impact on the financial and/or support aspects of the post-SGO support plan. Work closely with the Head of Service, providing regular updates on progress. Maintain an organized and methodical approach to handling multiple reviews efficiently. Requirements: Social Work England (SWE) registration is essential. Proven experience in social work, particularly with Special Guardianship Orders. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work at pace. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage sensitive information and handle complex cases with discretion and professionalism. Benefits: Competitive pay rate of £35 per hour.
