Experienced Class 1 Car Transporter Driver
Depot: Grimsby
Shift: 4 on, 4 off (Tramping)
Salary: Up to £56,000+ with generous and achievable bonuses
Contract: Permanent
We are recruiting Experienced Class 1 Car Transporter Drivers for our client, a leading vehicle logistics company. This is a permanent role and involves collecting and delivering vehicles across the UK on a 4 on, 4 off tramping shift pattern. While the depot is in the Grimsby area, applications are welcome from qualified drivers across central and northern UK due to the nature of the role.
About the Role:
* Driving an HGV car transporter carrying up to 11 new or used vehicles.
* Loading and unloading cars, vans, and other vehicles onto and off the transporter.
* Conducting thorough vehicle checks before loading to ensure they are in good condition.
* Engaging directly with dealerships and clients.
* Delivering vehicles to dealerships and small businesses in the region.
Requirements:
* HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence.
* Car transporter experience (essential).
* Valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
* No more than 6 points on your licence.
* Professional, well-presented, and customer-focused.
