Excavator Operator – Newtownabbey – £18 p/h
Established in 1970, Montgomery Transport Group is one of Europe's leading suppliers of logistical services. The company is a privately owned business, part of the Ballyvesey Holdings Group that has grown significantly in recent years, now providing a diverse range of Logistics Services throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Montgomery Transport are recruiting for an Excavator Operator to join their friendly team in Newtownabbey.
Responsibilities:
Operate an excavator for excavation and site preparation.
Maintain equipment for safe and effective operation.
Conduct daily equipment checks and maintenance
Basic demolition
Drainage duties
Be adaptable to diverse requirements
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating excavators.
CPCS or NPORS qualification.
Full UK (manual) driving licence.
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Basic understanding of machine maintenance
Proven track record of adhering to safety standards
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Previous experience in site safety.
Highly motivated and self-reliant.
Hours & Pay
Day Shift
8am to 5pm
£18 per hour
