Estimator - Bespoke Joinery Contractor Estimator - a successful specialist bespoke joinery contractor is recruiting an Estimator to join their growing team at their head office in Ilkeston. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator to be part of a team renowned for their expertise in the design, manufacture and installation of quality joinery products. Why Apply? Our client is seeking an estimator to join their busy commercial team working closely with the design department to deliver an array of products across the commercial, healthcare, education and retail sectors. They have an impressive client base ranging from main contractors, interior and refurbishment specialists and end users - expect to price and win projects up to £250,000. Our client has a full order book for 2025 and offers a supportive, relaxed, modern office environment where you will play a key role in the future success of the business. The company have forecast continued growth creating excellent career opportunities for an Estimator looking for new challenges and progression - they also operate a uncapped bonus scheme on any new business secured. Key Duties: - Review tender enquiries to determine scope of works & deadlines. - Conduct quantity take-offs and source pricing information for materials and labour. - Prepare cost estimates and proposals for projects, including materials, labour, and overhead costs. - Work closely with the Projects Team to ensure a smooth handover to the site delivery teams. - Establishing & expanding on existing relationships with suppliers to achieve best value and commercial terms. - Participate in bid reviews and presentations to clients. Requirements: - Previous experience in bespoke joinery estimating - Strong analytical and mathematical skills - Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities - The ability to work both on their own and part of a team - Proficient in Microsoft Office Salary & Package: - Basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000 - Bonus scheme on new business - Early finish on a Friday - Holiday and Pension For any further information on this Estimator vacancy please apply with your CV attached or contact Tia Cooke at Saxton Recruitment on (phone number removed).
