Estimator – Bespoke Joinery Specialist Location: Market Harborough Salary: Up to £50,000 + Package Are you a skilled Estimator with a passion for bespoke joinery and high-quality craftsmanship? Join this growing team in Market Harborough, where they specialise in delivering bespoke joinery projects, from manufacture through to completion. Their work spans commercial fit-outs and refurbishments, focusing on excellence and attention to detail. The Role As an Estimator, you will play a key role in pricing and managing high-value projects (often exceeding £1 million) in the commercial fit-out and refurbishment sector. You'll collaborate with clients, project teams, and suppliers to ensure every project is delivered to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities * Price projects exceeding £1 million, ensuring alignment with specifications and budgets. * Leverage your understanding of timber and joinery techniques to price bespoke works effectively. * Represent the company professionally during client meetings and interviews, providing expert advice. * Work closely with project teams to deliver timely budgets and quotations. * Utilise Excel and specialist estimating software to produce clear and accurate budgets. * Ensure all estimates reflect the highest quality and meet client expectations. * Operate effectively in fast-paced environments, demonstrating flexibility and initiative. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone with the following skills and experience: * At least 5 years of experience in estimating, with a proven track record of pricing projects valued over £1 million. * Strong knowledge of joinery, particularly timber and bespoke techniques. * A background in fit-out or shopfitting sectors. * Proficiency in Excel and estimating software, with an ability to produce accurate budgets efficiently. * Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident in client-facing situations. * Flexible, hardworking, and proactive in ensuring successful project delivery. Preferred Skills * A background or formal qualification in timber/joinery or a related field is highly desirable. * Experience with high-end or bespoke joinery projects is an advantage
