Contract Type: Full-time
Daily Rate: £150 - £220+ per day (dependant on experience)Empowering Learning is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Wigan. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and help them develop their skills in English language and literature.
The Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a key role in fostering a love for literature and language, supporting students in their academic progress, and preparing them for examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative and effective English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on students' progress.
Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
Contribute to the wider school community and departmental activities.
Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and engagement.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching English at secondary school level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
