Engineering Tutor
North Yorkshire
£32,000 to £40,000 p/a
Full-time, permanent (9 days work per fortnight)
We are working with an education provider in North Yorkshire who are looking for an Engineering Tutor to join their engineering training team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a position at a longstanding and reputable training and education provider, who have a specialism in engineering skills. The job role would consist of you delivering training on a variety of engineering units (up to level 3).
Unit titles would include: Digital Principles, Engineering Design, Engineering Maths, Production Engineering, Quality and Process Improvement, Mechanical Principles, Mechatronics, CAD, Engineering Organisational Efficiency, Communications for Engineering Technicians, Mechanical Measurement and Inspection Techniques, Engineering Measurement Systems, Engineering Drawings, and Properties and Applications of Materials. If you are able to look at delivering most (but not all) of these modules, our client could consider you.
The starting salary for this position is between £32,000 and £40,000 per annum, which would also include a contributory pension (after 6 months), access to a fleet car, and 33 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays). The role would involve working 9 days each fortnight, with every other Friday given as a day off (which isn't subtracted from your holiday allowance).
To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-An Engineering qualification (at level 3 or above)
-A passion for passing on your engineering knowledge
-A full UK driving license
